Text wrapping must be set to ‘None’ With text wrapping enabled repeatable headers does not work. • Right click on your table and select ‘Table Properties’ • On the ‘Table’ tab set ‘Text Wrapping’ to ‘None’ • Page breaks must NOT be in table If a page break is inside the table repeatable headers will not work. To check for page breaks: • Enable the display formatting option on the ‘Home’ tab, under ‘Paragraph’ • • Look through the table for a page break and delete it, if there is one it will be at the bottom of the page (hence being a page break). You may also need to delete an empty line to join your table together again. • • If you need the table to page break you will instead have to set a page break on the row.
In Word there are all sorts of ways to insert images into a file. In Windows you can create a 'link' to the original creating software. This means that if you double click on the image then it opens the app which created the image. The important thing is that this means that you have actually added something more than just the image to the word file and if you transfer the file to Mac, the image will not be displayed as the 'linked' app doesn't exist.

Dan Koko November 13, 2011 at 11:45 am. I have the issue with Track Changes used in the referenced style not showing in the Header with the StyleRef field. The text appears but, in this case, is not strikethrough.

Re: Headers missing in Print Layout in Word Headers and footers appear only in print layout view, print preview, and in printed documents. The 'print layout' setting (under the View menu) is stored in each individual document. If you switch a document from 'Normal' to 'print layout' and save the document, then that particular document should continue to open in print layout until you switch it to another layout.

However, Microsoft has removed this feature in Office 2016 for Mac claiming Office 2016 for Mac will only prompt you to rebuild the database if it encounters a problem but this doesn’t always work anyway and you risk losing all of your mail if it doesn’t repair properly: The way round this is to create a new Profile in Office 2016 for Mac instead (previously called an “Identity” in Office 2011). Note that if you use Microsoft Exchange, creating a new profile will delete any data that has not yet been synchronized with Exchange including contacts so it’s advisable to backup any local data in Outlook on your Mac. Here’s how to create a new identity in Office 2016 using El Capitan, Sierra and High Sierra: • Open your Applications folder and find Microsoft Outlook • Hold down the CTRL key and then click on Microsoft Outlook to see the contextual menu and select “Show Package Contents” • In the Contents > SharedSupport folder, double-click on Outlook Profile Manager (which was previously called Database Utility in Office 2011).
